I Love Love.
Life is a lot of things. There are a thousand different definitions by a thousand different people. In the end, life is what we choose. A lesson to learn. You choose love over hatred. Right over wrong. Good over bad. And it all comes to the same thing. Living the life you love.
I believe that love rules all, and my best friend does too. This is probably one of those rare things that we actually agree upon. Being Arians, we believe in miracles by default. To us, whatever happens, it will all be okay in the end, somehow or the other. Which is why I am not surprised that now, she is going to marry the love of her life. It was bound to happen. We are just two girls who are crazy in love. After all, what is a life without love? :)
I used to be a cynic when it came to love. When my friend used to oh-so-dreamily talk about that romantic thing her boyfriend had done, I said ‘Hey. That is a nice story for a script.’ I was cursed that I would understand one day when I went through the same thing. I scoffed. Am I now? Nope. Do I regret it? Nope! Hell, why would I when this is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me.
‘Lal mere dil ka haal hai. Lagta tumpe kamaal hai.’ This is probably the worst shayari anybody could come up with. But I shamelessly say that I like it. That’s what happens when you’re in love. Everything is beautiful. There is hope. So what if some people don’t understand it and do not want it to happen? You hold on to the hope that one day, they will. It keeps you going. It emanates hope. When it works out for your best friend, your hope is renewed. You can literally feel her happiness, her glow. It’s as if it happened to you. Such is its power. It can never make you feel bad.

In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smiling through
No matter how your heart is grieving
If you keep on believing
The dream that you wish will come true

I say that everyone deserves to be loved. Everyone deserves to live their life with the one they love. Everyone deserves happiness. There are problems now. There will be happiness tomorrow. It’s like a wheel. It has to turn. It has to change.
